Hi, I’m Kati Sarbu
I've always been passionate about helping people thrive. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), I spent years helping people build healthier habits and create lasting change. Along the way, I also started several of my own businesses and quickly discovered what many small business owners know all too well: when you're wearing every hat, it's easy for the financial and administrative side of the business to fall behind.
Like many entrepreneurs, I was focused on serving my clients and growing my business. The bookkeeping, organization, systems, and behind-the-scenes details often came second. I know what it feels like to have money coming in while still wondering if everything behind the scenes is working the way it should.
As I worked through those challenges, I realized something about myself. My greatest strengths weren't just in healthcare. I genuinely enjoy creating order from complexity. I'm naturally drawn to organization, systems, workflows, and helping people make sense of information that feels overwhelming.
That realization led me to strengthen my financial knowledge by becoming Intuit Bookkeeping Certified and earning multiple QuickBooks Online certifications. More importantly, it confirmed that what I enjoy most is helping business owners create structure that supports long-term success.
Today, through Simply Healthy Bookkeeping, I help solopreneurs and small service-based business stay organized, understand their numbers, and build practical systems that make running a business feel less overwhelming.
